Sikkim is home to many Monasteries. For visitors seeking inner peace, there are some great destinations for meditation. Rumtek Monastery is most popular among them. It is a large monastery covering massive area. Monastery includes a school to teach Buddhism. Every year monastery conducts various festivals in July.

5. Nathula Pass

Nathula pass is on Indo-Chinese border that currently serves as trade route between the two country. Ride alone to Nathula pass is mesmerizing and it is the highest pass accessible for tourism. Even the historic silk route passed through Nathula Pass. Visit the Border Gates of Indo-China, and Exhibition Center of Indian Army.
